One dead, 17 injured as minibus carrying Russian tourists overturns

One Russian tourist died and 17 others were injured when a minibus carrying a group of Russian tourists overturned in the southern province of Antalya on Tuesday, the Anatolia news agency said.

Anatolia said the minibus, driven by Celalettein Yıldırım, was carrying the tourists from Antalya Airport to their hotel in the Side district. The minibus overturned after crashing into a roadblock in the Manavgat district. One Russian tourist, who has not been identified, died in the accident, while 17 injured in the accident were taken to nearby hospitals.

In 2010, 15 Russian tourists died and 25 others were injured when their tour bus drove off a bridge and tumbled into a riverbed in Antalya.
