Şişecam declares TL484.3 million net profit

Şişecam stated on Friday that its consolidated sales increased 15 percent to 4.2 billion TL in 2010 when compared to 2009. Its export volume reached 800 million TL last year.

Şişecam's consolidated equities rose 12 percent to 4.1 billion TL, while net financial debt dropped 519 million TL to 393 million TL in 2010 when compared to 2009.

Şişecam is one of the major industrial groups in Turkey, mainly active in glass production and marketing. With 13,000 employees, the company produces flat glass, tableware, containers, glassfibre, chemicals, glassmaking raw materials, metalworks and moulds.
