15 November 2010 /THE ANATOLIA NEWS AGENCY
Turkey's petroleum company signed on Sunday a protocol on running two natural gas fields in Iraq.

Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) will develop two natural gas fields and extract natural gas from two fields in Iraq.

On October 20, TPAO and its consortium partners won a tender for the operation rights of Iraq's Mansuriyah gas fields.

The consortium will operate the fields for a period of 13 years and it targets 6.4 million cubic meters production per day.

Mansuriyah fields contain 128 billion cubic meters (bcm) of reserves, according to the Iraqi Oil Ministry.
