Turkey through the lens of Fatih Akın in Turin

Film buffs in Italy’s Turin, as of yesterday, were being offered a chance to delve into Fatih Akın’s movies for seven days, thanks to a film program jointly hosted by the Goethe Institut and the National Cinema Museum in Turin.
Running through Sept. 14 at Cinema Massimo, the program aims to introduce Turkey to Italian movie buffs through the viewpoint of the award-winning Akın, who was expected to be in attendance at Tuesday’s opening.
