‘Vespa’ to open Hungarian film showcase in İstanbul

“Vespa,” a 2010 feature film by Diana Groo, will open this month’s Hungarian Films Week in İstanbul.
The 14-title program, offering eight features and six documentaries, will get under way Saturday and run until Sept. 16 in two theaters -- the Beyoğlu Theater in Taksim and the Kartal Sanat Theater on the Asian side. Groo will be in attendance for the screening. Hungarian Films Week is organized by the Turkish Cinema Foundation (TÜRSAV).
