You should certainly go to Pakistan

4 September 2010 / FATMA K. BARBAROSOĞLU YENI ŞAFAK ,
In order for you to understand the tragedy caused by the disaster of the century in Pakistan, I would like to present the statements of Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, which are descriptive of the disaster: “Pakistan is going through the most painful times in its history.
The destruction caused by the flood disaster is incomparable. It’s much more than the damage caused by tsunamis in other parts of the world. People are still in the waters. One-eighth of Pakistan’s population was affected by this disaster. Twenty percent of the soil is still under water. Millions of people are homeless. Without getting foreign help, it is impossible for us to overcome this disaster. The issue of priority is ensuring that people have potable water to drink.” Turkey is not only delivering aid to the region but is also making an effort to draw the world’s attention to this place. There are many aid organizations here from Turkey. In brief, I propose you travel to Pakistan either physically or spiritually to see the tragedy there.
