The Turkish highway authorities have changed some of the speed limits on Turkey’s inter-city highways. Accordingly, the speed limit for automobiles on two-way highways has been increased to 90 kilometers per hour (km/h); the speed limited for barrier-divided highways has been increased to 110 km/h.
Meanwhile, the speed limit for buses and minibuses on two-way highways is now 80 km/h, and the limit for the same vehicles on barrier-divided highways has increased to 100 km/h. However, speed limits in residential areas have not changed.
