Zaman receives best sector news award
12 June 2010 / TODAY’S ZAMAN, İSTANBUL
The Zaman daily, Today’s Zaman’s sister paper, has been honored with the best news report for sector analysis award by the Economic Journalists Association (EGD).
The series, titled “Giant firms to hire 110,000 workers in 2010,” was jointly prepared by Zaman’s business news correspondents Bayram Kaya, İsa Yazar, Ercan Baysal and Arif Bayraktar and published at the beginning of the year. The awards were presented to the journalists late on Thursday in İstanbul, in the second annual EGD awards ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by İstanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO) Chairman Murat Yalçıntaş and EGD General Manager Celal Toprak, along with nearly 400 EGD members.
