‘Keşanlı Ali’ set for Broadway outing in June

“Keşanlı Ali Destanı” (The Legend of Ali of Keşan), one of the classics of Turkish theater, will get a one-off Broadway run next month at The Town Hall.
The musical, written by Haldun Taner, will be staged by the Turkish-American Art Society of New York on June 22. Fadik Sevin Atasoy, known for her role in the film “Zeynep’in Sekiz Günü” (Zeynep’s Eight Days), and Yavuz Bingöl, of “Üç Maymun” (Three Monkeys) fame, are in the lead roles.
