The launch of the 3D LED TV series and 3D Blu-ray disc player will allow consumers to enjoy an unprecedented viewing experience in their own homes.
Samsung promises to deliver the world’s most realistic 3D viewing experience with its unique 3D HyperReal Engine and its stylish designs to match different living environments.
The TV sets are also equipped with 200Hz Motion Plus technology, which reduces animation blur to increase image quality, especially during scenes with lots of action. Additionally, the new 3D engine is capable of converting ordinary 2D images into 3D images with only a limited reduction in the quality of the picture.
The new TV models and the innovative technology were promoted at a press conference in İstanbul yesterday. Samsung Electronics Turkey General Manager C.S. Lee said the company was extremely proud to present this high-level technology to Turkey at virtually the same time as other countries in the developed world. “We have no doubt that the 3D TVs will be indispensable with the entertainment opportunities they present,” he stated.
The consumer electronics marketing and sales director of Samsung Electronics Turkey, Lemi Paksoy, also delivered a speech at the briefing to announce that the new Samsung TV models were to hit the shelves yesterday, the same day as the press conference. He said the company expects to sell 2 million of the TV sets worldwide in 2010 and added that the number of 3D TVs sold is likely to be twice as much in the medium term.
The new models will have a price tag of between TL 3,300 and TL 9,000.
