İstanbul’s Bahçeşehir University has become an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) testing center.
Mehmet Atasagun, director of the Bahçeşehir University Preparatory School, said IELTS oral exams are now being administered at Bahçeşehir University Preparatory School. Atasagun noted that IELTS is one of the most widely accepted English assessments worldwide, underlining that in addition to Turkey, many foreign countries, including the UK and the US, accept its validity.“The speaking oral takes 15 minutes for each student. Students enter the class to take the exam separately. We also pay great attention to the security of classes. If demand with regard to IELTS exams increases, we will need more classes to organize IELTS oral exams,” said Atasagun. Noting that they had completed the necessary preparations for the exam, Atasagun added that Bahçeşehir University is planning to host other IELTS exams as well.
