Ankara music festival to offer a blend of genres to music lovers

27th Ankara Music Festival which will be held in Ankara between April 5-30 will offer music lovers a blend of musical flavours ranging from symphonic to chamber music, from tap dance to musical comedies and from classic guitar performances to song recitals.

Aside from Turkey, 350 performers from 16 countries including France, Russia, Israel, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Germany, Japan, Austria, Korea, Spain and Finland will meet with the Ankara audience in 23 different events under the festival organised by the Sevda Cenap And Music Foundation.

The festival will begin with a concert by Hacettepe Symphony Orchestra featuring French Pianist Laure Favre-Kahn and will end with concert by Bilkent Symphony Orchestra with Conductor Klaus Weise and Violonist Rebekka Heart.

Sevda Cenap And Music Foundation Chairman Elif Başman said, "this year we are trying to reach out to an audience from all segments with various events. With this festival we are bringing together a blend of 18 different genres in 23 events."
