Turkish luxury hotel chain Rixos has appointed Kees Hartzuiker as the new CEO of the company.

Hartzuiker previously served as vice president of operations for the Hilton hotel chain in Asia. The new manager will be responsible for 12 Rixos facilities in five countries employing around 6,000 personnel. Evaluating the new appointment in a written statement on Wednesday, Rixos Chairman Fettah Tamince said he has faith that Hartzuiker will contribute to the improvement of the chain in the months to come.

The new CEO said he is committed to achieving the target of being the best Turkish hotel chain while he holds the position. Hartzuiker noted that Rixos would expand its presence in the global tourism arena with new hotels expected to open in Libya, Dubai, Bahrain and Turkmenistan.
