İhlas Holding applied to the Capital Markets Board (SPK) to receive the necessary authorization before İhlas Gazetecilik could start trading on the İstanbul Stock Exchange (İMKB) last month. The holding statement said they had earlier announced that they had hired Oyak Yatırım, a Turkish investment firm, for public offering services.
Following the İhlas Gazetecilik initial public offering (IPO), İhlas Holding will have four subsidiaries traded on the İMKB, including İhlas Ev Aletleri, Kristal Kola and Okan Tekstil. İhlas Finans, a finance company that engages in Islamic banking, was previously traded on the İMKB; however, the firm’s business license has been revoked since it is in the process of liquidation.
Meanwhile, Aksa Enerji Üretim A.Ş. has also applied to trade on the İMKB, a written statement from the stock exchange said on Tuesday. The İMKB statement said the company would offer shares valued at TL 200 million to the public. The company is currently engaged in renewable energy along with natural gas and electricity distribution projects.
