17 March 2010 / TODAY’S ZAMAN WITH WIRES, İSTANBUL

But no one could have guessed the Jazz were in such a predicament when they trounced the Washington Wizards, 112-89, at the end of one of their toughest stretches of the season. Utah just returned from a four-game road trip and was playing on the second night of a back-to-back set.

Williams finished with 17 points and 11 assists and Sundiata Gaines scored a career-high 15 points on 6-for-7 shooting in just 18 minutes of play.

Andray Blatche scored 24 points and Mike Miller added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Wizards, who lost their eighth straight game.
