One day in the life of Berlin on screen at Akbank center

“Berlin: Die Sinfonie der Großstadt” (Berlin: Symphony of a Great City), a 1927 German silent film directed by Walter Ruttmann, will be shown this weekend in a special screening at the Akbank Art Center in İstanbul’s Beyoğlu district.
The film, featuring a musical score by Edmund Meisel, portrays one day in the life of Berlin mainly through visual impressions in a semi-documentary style without narrative content. The showing will be held on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
