IT WAS A GOOD DECICION NOT TO MAKE A NEW AGREEMENT WITH IMF, ECZACIBAŞI
President of the Executive Board of Turkey's Eczacıbaşı Holding, Bulent Eczacıbaşı, said that it was a good decision on the part of the Turkish government not to make a new agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). "It is too early to say that the global financial crisis is over. However, things in Turkey are going very well. The Turkish economy proved that it could stand on its feet without support or financial assistance from the IMF," Eczacıbaşı underlined.
BEŞİKTAŞ TO HELP CONSTRUCT A SCHOOL IN ELAZIĞ
Turkey's Beşiktaş Football Team has taken a decision to help construct an elementary school in quake stricken province of Elazığ. 300 students will receive education at the school whose construction will begin in the upcoming days.

WE SUPPORTED PKK
French parliamentarian Jose Bove confessed that the French police condoned PKK camps. Bove said he also went to those camps where armed training was being given to extend support.
Europe, which turned a blind eye to the terrorist organization until a short time ago, confessed the facts. Member of European Parliament, Jose Bove said the French police was aware of PKK camps in France and he had attended a meeting to support the PKK with a group of parliamentarians. Bove said he had visited terrorist cells in an electoral region and spoke to terrorists who were being trained.
The French parliamentarian said he was a close friend of M. Ali Doğan, a top member of the terrorist organization PKK who was caught on February 26. Bove said terrorists were given armed and ideologic training for 15 years, adding that French military units, stationed only one kilometer away from the camp, did not intervene in that camp.
SWEDISH PREMIER APOLOGIZES TO ERDOĞAN ON PHONE
Swedish Prime Minister Fredrick Reinfeldt called Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdoğan regarding the decision of the Swedish parliament on the so-called genocide allegations, and said the Swedish government was not sharing that view. Reinfeldt said Sweden would not let its relations with Turkey to be harmed. Erdoğan told Reinfeldt to correct this mistake.
WE WILL NEVER YIELD TO PRESSURE
Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu said countries that wanted to put pressure on Turkey with the Armenian resolution made a mistake. Davutoğlu criticized Sweden, which adopted the resolution by only one vote. Davutoğlu said, "history is not the business of politicians. If the aim of this decision is to put pressure on Turkey, nobody can achieve it."

GENOCIDE MARKING FROM LONDON
After the genocide resolutions were adopted in the United States and Sweden, eyes have been turned on Britain. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who will go to Britain on Monday, will warn London.
Erdoğan will discuss with his British counterpart Gordon Brown the genocide resolution to be taken up at the House of Commons.
SECOND TOUR TO AFRICA
President Abdullah Gül will begin his tour to Africa, covering the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Cameroon on Sunday. Gül will be accompanied by 140 businessmen. Gül visited Kenya and Tanzania in 2009, and he will be the first Turkish president visiting the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Cameroon. Gül will hold bilateral talks and visit Turkish schools in Kinshasa and Yaounde cities.

GENOCIDE TO ENCOUNTER ON ELECTIONS IN BRITAIN
After adoption of a resolution on "genocide" allegations in Sweden by only one vote, the first target of the Armenian diaspora is Britain. Before a similar resolution is submitted to a committee of the House of Commons, its "second reading" will be made on April 30.
However, experts think the resolution will be thrown away for two reasons.
1- The parliament will be abolished since elections will be held on May 6.
2- None of political parties in Britain want to risk Turkey.
MILITARY COLLEGE STUDENTS STAND AS A WHOLE UNDER DIFFICULT CIRCUMSTANCES
On the 111th anniversary of Ataturk's admission into the War College, Turkish Chief of General Staff Gen. Ilker Basbug addressed the military college students: "Being robust means being a whole under difficult circumstances. You have to be ready with your mind, spirit and body to difficult circumstances. A French leader of farmers and a deputy in the European Parliament, Jose Bove, admitted that he regularly attended meetings of terrorist organization PKK in Larzac Valley of France. A French citizen Christine Thelen announced that French dignitaries knew about the meetings of terrorist organization PKK in France all the time.

MARKO PASHA TEAM AGAINST DISCRIMINATION
Another step is being taken within the framework of the democratic initiative process. A special "task force" will be set up for efficient fight against discrimination and intolerance.
A three-stage plan will be implemented to solve problems of different groups and excluded parts of the society in Turkey. To this end, a special "task force" will be set up, and it will be comprised of representatives of concerned ministries. Punishment to those who make discrimination will be increased. A national campaign will be launched in 2010-2011 to make the society more conscious.
Those who think they are sexually, racially, linguistically, politically and religiously discriminated will apply to the governor's office. If personal complaints with which first police officers and prosecutors will deal require a general intervention, the "task force" will handle the case. This unit will also work for administrative and legal amendments.

Swedish Prime Minister Fredrick Reinfeldt called Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and said his country was ready to do what it had to, in order to prevent this baseless decision from overshadowing bilateral relations.

A French deputy in the European Parliament, Jose Bove, said that French security teams and police officers fully knew about the presence of a camp of the terrorist organization PKK in Larzak region of France. Hundreds of Kurdish teenagers received education in the camp and I participated in the meetings of the camp as a lecturer, Bove admitted.

BJK SCHOOL FOR QUAKE SURVIVORS
Women supporting the Beşiktaş (BJK) soccer team will build a school in the quake-hit Elazığ province. Beşiktaş Club will construct the school with 13 classes which can educate 300 students in Elazığ. 42 people died in the quake that hit this eastern province on March 8.
BDP RESPONSE TO ATALAY: ALSO PKK AND IMRALI SHOULD BE INCLUDED
Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) chairman Selahattin Demirtaş said his party wanted interlocutors who would not send them to another place, and his party considered inter-parliament legitimate interlocutor important. Demirtaş said, "it is pleasing to see they have reached this stage, and we are saying from the outset that we are interlocutors. However, PKK and Imrali should also be included in the process."
"EU, DO NOT INTERVENE IN HISTORY"
Ankara's message to the European Union (EU): "Be transparent, and history should not be made a tool for politics."
Ankara continues to react to adoption of the "genocide" resolution at the Swedish parliament. Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu said, "Turkey's reaction will be very harsh as it has done so far," and is launching initiatives in the EU.
Davutoğlu met foreign ministers of Sweden, Spain, France, Italy, Estonia and the EU and European Commissioner for enlargement Stefan Fule is expected in Ankara. Here are messages to Fule: EU should be equitable, and genocide allegations should not be a political tool.
