Speaking at the International Social Security Association’s Good Practice Awards ceremony for Turkish participants in Ankara, Dinçer stated that in 2011 all social security procedures would be handled by a digital infrastructure, bypassing much of the bureaucracy and collecting records on citizens in one computerized system. “We’ve started 39 new information technology projects within the institution and hope to realize all of them. Our first goal for 2011 is to take care of all social security procedures at the push of a button on our computers. No procedure will involve excessive bureaucracy, and nothing will require excessive paperwork or physical signatures,” Dinçer stressed.
Dinçer asked the institution’s workers to be willing to try and propose new things without being afraid of making mistakes, but stressed that attempts to exploit the system would not be tolerated.
