13 March 2010 / FEHMİ KORU YENİ ŞAFAK,
The CHP believes that the Ergenekon case has been set up as a sort of revenge. They tend to see it as a confrontation between a political movement or a religious community that was victimized during the Feb. 28 process and their oppressors...
I wrote it yesterday once again: I did not lose hope that the CHP would change its attitude when claims started to be substantiated. It is for this reason that I was expecting that the CHP would smooth out this strict opposition when the military authorities confirmed the claims about the authenticity of a signature and the Sledgehammer coup plan. It is high time that the CHP confronted reality. It should stop clinging to false beliefs or suspicions, but contribute to Turkey’s progress in the world.
