Okur shines as Jazz subdue Pistons again

The Utah Jazz beat the Detroit Pistons 115-104 in the NBA for the 10th straight time on at Auburn Hills, Michigan, on Wednesday night.
Deron Williams had 18 points and 12 assists to lead seven Jazz players in double figures. Former Pistons center, Mehmet Okur, of Turkey was also outstanding, finishing with 18 points, five rebounds and three assists Detroit also had seven players score at least 10 points, led by Charlie Villanueva!s 19, but couldn’t avoid its seventh loss in eight games. Elsewhere, the Memphis Grizzlies notched a franchise-record seventh straight road win by thrashing the Boston Celtics 111-91. Rudy Gay scored 28 points and O.J. Mayo added 17 to lead Memphis to its first victory over the Celtics in seven tries since 2006. Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo scored 17 points apiece for the Celtics, who suffered their equal heaviest defeat of the season. Other NBA results: Charlotte 102, Philadelphia 87; Miami 108, LA Clippers 97; Denver 110, Minnesota 102; Oklahoma City 98, New Orleans 83; Dallas 96, New Jersey 87; San Antonio 97, New York 87; and Sacramento 113, Toronto 90.
