Two Turks among Europe's most talented junior basketball players

Two Turkish sportsmen have managed to take place among Europe's ten most talented junior basketball players.

Nike, worldwide famous designer of sports shoes, clothing and gear, selected the most talented junior basketball players in the European continent to send them to the Jordan Brand Classic activities to be held in New York's Madison Square Garden on April 17.

During a training camp held by Nike in Istanbul on March 6 and 7, Tayfun Erulku and Talat Altunbey were chosen to represent Turkey in the activities in the USA.

Those ten players aged 15-16 will join the team together with six others to be selected from the other regions of the world to compete in the third annual international game as part of the Jordan Brand Classic.

According to Nike's list, Europe's most talented basketball players are as follows: Tayfun Erulku and Talat Altunbey (Turkey), Vasilije Micic and Nikola Jankovic (Serbia), Charly Maraux and Alexandre Chassang (France), Marius Grigonis (Lithuania), Francesco Candussi (Italy), Kyprianos Maragkos (Greece), Malik Mueller (Germany).
