Aimed at creating a suitable platform for businessmen of the two nations to hold talks and set up investment agreements, the “Turkey-Tanzania Business Forum” will be attended by Tanzanian President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, who is on a four-day official visit to Turkey.
A presentation on investment and trade opportunities in Tanzania will be made during the forum. The forum, which has received great interest from TUSKON members, is expected to attract some 400 Turkish businessmen and give Turkish and Tanzanian businessmen a chance to hold bilateral business talks. In addition to President Kikwete, Tanzania’s Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister Bernard Kamilius Membe and Industry, Trade and Marketing Minister Mary Nagu as well as Zanzibar’s Tourism, Trade and Investment Minister Samia Suluhu Hassan are expected to attend the forum.
