Alboran Trio in İstanbul for workshop, concert

The Alboran Trio, one of the leading jazz ensembles to have emerged from Italy, will be at İstanbul’s Akbank Art Center on Friday for a workshop and a live performance.
The trio, formed by Paolo Paliaga (piano), Gigi Biolcati (drums) and Dino Contenti (bass), will hold an admission-free seminar/workshop at 5 p.m. on the place of African, Middle Eastern and Balkan rhythms in jazz music. Their concert will start at 8 p.m. Ticket price: TL 12
