CSO to host cellist Geringas as soloist

Lithuanian cellist David Geringas, praised for his broad repertoire, which spans from early baroque to contemporary music, will be in Ankara this week for two appearances with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra (CSO).
Geringas and the CSO, under the baton of renowned Polish maestro Marek Pijarowski, will present concertos and symphonies by Schumann and Shostakovich in the concerts on Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m. at the CSO Concert Hall.
