Classical Turkish tunes to echo at Dolmabahçe

İstanbul will be hosting a new series of concerts called “Palace Concerts” starting this month, and the first performance in the series will be held on Feb. 8 at Dolmabahçe Palace.
The concert, titled “19. Yüzyılda Musikimiz” (our music in the 19th century), will feature a sampling of classical Turkish music to be performed by the İstanbul State Classical Turkish Music Choir under the baton of musician Birol Yayla. The concert will take place in the palace’s Medhal Hall.
