Davutoğlu met with Alternate Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas of Greece in London on Thursday.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Davutoğlu said that they discussed the contents of the letters between Turkish and Greek prime ministers.
Noting that he invited Droutsas to Turkey, Davutoğlu said that Droutsas accepted the invitation. He added that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was planning to pay a visit to Athens.
Davutoğlu said that there was a big cooperation potential in Turkey-Greece relations, adding that the two countries could also cooperate in regional issues like the Balkans, Mediterranean and Middle East.
Davutoğlu is expected to return to Turkey on Friday after attending a meeting at a think-tank organization, the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
