Alin Taşçıyan named FIPRESCI vice president

Turkish movie critic Alin Taşçıyan has been elected to the board of the revered International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) at the international body’s 2009/2010 general assembly held over the weekend in Bari in Italy, on the sidelines of the Bari International Film & TV Festival, running Jan. 23-30.

Taşçıyan has been named one of the four vice presidents of FIPRESCI, elected for two years, the Turkish movie Web site Sadibey.com reported.
