The 1st Amsterdam Turkish Film Festival is slated to take place in Amsterdam in March, organizers reported on Sunday.
Twenty-five movies by Turkish directors including Bahadır Karataş, Raşit Çelikezer, Yeşim Ustaoğlu, Mehmet Fazıl Coşkun and Atalay Taşkent will be screened during the festival, which is set to take place between March 19 and 21.Special music programs will also be featured on the sidelines of the festival during which Turkish and Dutch musicians and dancers will stage performances.
The three-day festival, sponsored by Turkish Airlines (THY) and organized by the Yedi Tepe Foundation, aims to build a cultural bridge between Turkey and the Netherlands.
