The exhibition will run through Feb. 21.

Meanwhile, another exhibition was opened on Jan. 9 in Marseille’s La Frinche la Belle de Mai Gallery as part of the Season of Turkey in France. Titled “Mevsimlik İş” (Seasonal Work), the exhibition is curated by Çelenk Bafra, who is responsible for the presentation of visual arts during the Season of Turkey in France, and Veronique Collard Bovy and displays a collection of works by 15 artists from Turkey, including photographs and videos.

The exhibition came as a result of a project launched by the curators in 2008 with meetings in İstanbul, İzmir, Antakya, Diyarbakır, and in Paris and Marseille.

The exhibition will run through Feb. 13.

The Season of Turkey in France activities began at the beginning of July with a show by the Fire of Anatolia dance group and a Mercan Dede concert. Turkey will be promoted by over 400 artistic and cultural activities in more than 70 cities in France for nine months. The Season of Turkey in France aims to contribute to the promotion of Turkey’s creative differences, culture and heritage to French society.
