Bucaspor adds to Erciyes’ woes

Championship contender Bucaspor, as expected, bashed relegation-threatened Kayseri Erciyesspor 3-0 away in their week 17 clash in the Bank Asya League 1 on Sunday.
The victory catapulted Bucaspor to fourth place and also boosted the Aegean side’s chances for promotion to topflight Turkish soccer next season. Kayseri Erciyesspor remained 17th in the 18-team standings. Other Bank Asya League 1 results on Sunday: Çaykur Rizespor 1, Kocaelispor 1; Mersin İ.Y. 1, Hacettepe 0; Karşıyaka 2, Boluspor 1; Dardanelspor 1, Gaziantep BşB 1; and Orduspor 1, Samsunspor 3.
