Efes Pilsen teaches TOFAŞ a lesson

Efes Pilsen, undisputedly the best team in the men’s Beko Turkish Basketball League (TBL) so far this season, beat TOFAŞ 86-56 in their week 10 match at the Darüşşafaka Ayhan Şahenk Arena in İstanbul on Saturday.
Efes led 18-15 in the first quarter and never looked back. The reigning Turkish champion also led 36-30 in the second and 64-39 in the third before running riot in the fourth to win 86-56. Other TBL results: Fenerbahçe Ülker 87, Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi 72; Kepez Belediyesi 77, Aliağa Petkim 80; OYA K Renault 85, Bornova Belediyesi 82 (OT); Erdemirspor 82, Beşiktaş Cola Turka 88; and Pınar Karşıyaka 76, Darüşşafaka Cooper Tires 66. In the women’s Turkish Basketball League (TBBL), it was: Ceyhan Belediyesi 83, Çankaya Üniversitesi 73 and Panküp Kayseri Şekerspor 86, Tarsus Belediyesi 78.
