This week in theaters
Business is not going very well and things are not running very smoothly in the family either. The shop is in huge debt. The only fun Celal and his brother have is going to nightclubs in Samsun. Celal is in love with Sibel Ceylan, a singer at the nightclub, but this attachment will cause him trouble. Meanwhile, Celal’s wife, Sevilay (Binnur Kaya), is secretly saving money sent to her by her father who lives in Germany. However, she is unaware of the fact that Celal knows about her little secret. Celal thinks that this money will be his salvation and comes up with a plan to kill his wife. Getting an automatic door installed on his car, he plans to push his wife off a cliff from the moving car, making it seem like an accident, after which he will take his wife’s 75,000 euros. His plan succeeds, but strangely, two days after the incident, Sevilay comes back.

‘Süpürrr!’ (Sweep!)
Oğuz (Cem Kılıç) wants to take his relationship with Naz (Başak Parlak), his girlfriend of three years, to the next level and asks her to marry him. However, their marriage is almost impossible because Naz’s father vowed years ago that his daughter would only marry a sportsman wearing the Turkish national jersey. Left with no choice, Oğuz desperately seeks a way to persuade Naz’s father to let him marry Naz. Just as he is about to give up, Oğuz stumbles upon a sports championship he has never even heard of before being aired on TV and this gives him new inspiration for ways to persuade Naz’s father to allow the couple to get married. Oğuz sets out to found Turkey’s first ever curling team, thinking he has discovered the shortcut to wearing the national jersey.

‘Acı Aşk’ (BItter Love)
Orhan (Halit Ergenç), a literature lecturer at a university in Eskişehir, unexpectedly decides to part ways with his fiance, who he was about to marry. He moves to İstanbul with the thought of starting anew, and there he meets Oya, a photographer. Orhan has the happiest days of his life with Oya, but a series of incidents right after the couple gets married draw Orhan away from his new wife. Orhan finds himself in the middle of a difficult situation, caught between the love of three women: Oya, his student Seda and his ex-girlfriend.
