In a written statement released yesterday, Karlıtekin, who has held said position for approximately seven years, did not provide a reason for his resignation but said it will take effect by Jan. 1, 2010. “I am proud of being a member of THY, and I have been happily working for the company for nearly seven years. I believe that THY will succeed. I thank all those who granted me this opportunity to work at THY, which will always be an honorable memory in my life,” he stated.
