Paris-based Turkish ceramic artist Alev Ebuzziya Siesbye, world-renowned for her signature ceramic bowl designs, is opening a solo exhibition of her newest works today in the French city of Vallauris.
The exhibition, titled “Alev’in Seramikleri” (Alev’s Ceramics), features a miscellaneous collection of 57 ceramic and 56 glass and porcelain pieces, in which the artist combines modern and traditional forms. The exhibit, part of the ongoing Season of Turkey in France series of cultural events, is scheduled to run until March 1, 2010 at the Ceramics Museum in Vallauris.
