Granddaughter sheds light on Chagall’s life and work

Meret Meyer, the granddaughter of great 20th century painter Marc Chagall and the vice president of the Marc Chagall Committee, will be speaking at a conference on Chagall’s life and work today at the Pera Museum on the sidelines of the ongoing exhibition “Marc Chagall: Love and Life.”
Organized in collaboration with the French Cultural Institute in İstanbul and titled “The Understanding of Color through Black,” the conference will start at 2:30 p.m. at the Pera Museum Auditorium. Admission is free of charge. The conference will be held in French and simultaneous translation in Turkish will be available.
