Russian pianist Denis Matsuev will appear as soloist in two concerts by the Borusan İstanbul Philharmonic Orchestra next week.
Under the baton of maestro Sascha Goetzel, the orchestra will accompany Matsuev in a program that will feature Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor, Op. 30; Richard Strauss’ “Dance of the Seven Veils” from the opera “Salome”; Ottorino Respighi’s “Belkis, Queen of Sheba” and Ulvi Cemal Erkin’s “Köçekçe.” The concerts will take place Dec. 16 at the Caddebostan Culture Center and Dec. 17 at Lütfi Kırdar Congress Center.
