TÜPRAŞ to make an investment of 2 billion USD

Director General of Turkish Petroleum Refineries Corporation (TÜPRAŞ), Yavuz Erkut, said Tuesday his company decided to make an investment worth 2 billion USD in order to increase the production of diesel fuel.
TÜPRAŞ's decision came after consumption of diesel fuel in Turkey had gone significantly up in recent months.
The company will erect a new refinery for diesel fuel.
TÜPRAŞ is Turkey's largest industrial enterprise, with 28.1 million ton crude processing capacity.
