Donizetti’s ‘Don Pasquale’ at Süreyya Opera House

“Don Pasquale,” Gaetano Donizetti’s well-known comic opera in three acts, is being staged in two performances this week at İstanbul’s Süreyya Opera House.
The İstanbul State Opera production, directed by Recep Ayyılmaz, features a rotating cast of Ayten Telek, Hande Soner and Özlem Soydan in the role of Norina and Ali İhsan Onat and Kenan Dağaşan in the role of Don Pasquale. The performances take place 8 p.m. today and tomorrow.
