Six medals for Turks in South Korea

Turkey won six medals in the world women’s weightlifting championships in South Korea.
Turkish women weightlifters won one gold, three silver and two bronze medals in the ongoing 20th Women’s World Weightlifting Championships in Goyang, South Korea. Sibel Özkan won gold in the 48-kilogram clean and jerk, and Nurca Taylan took silver while Turkish lifters won a total of six medals. Aylın Taşdelen and Emine Bilgin competed on Sunday but failed to qualify.
