‘Turkey in Photographs’ on view in Çanakkale

The “Fotoğraflarla Türkiye” (Turkey in Photographs) exhibition, featuring about 70 photos taken by photojournalist Ali Öz from 1982 to 2009, is now on display at the State Fine Arts Gallery in Çanakkale.
Öz, describing the photos featured as the story of Turkey and the exhibition as a face-off between reality and empathy, started working as a photojournalist in 1982. The exhibition will run through Dec. 4.
