‘Goodbye Lenin’ at Goethe-Institut

German director Wolfgang Becker’s “Goodbye Lenin”, a comedic look at Germany before and after the fall of the Berlin Wall, will be shown on Friday at the Goethe-Institut in İstanbul.
The movie tells the story of a mother who fell into a coma right before the fall of the Berlin Wall and her son, who in order to prevent her from suffering a heart attack after she recovers, recreates the German Democratic Republic in her house. The screening will begin at 7 p.m.
