President Gül welcomes Italian counterpart Napolitano with official ceremony

Turkish President Abdullah Gül welcomed his Italian counterpart Giorgio Napolitano to Turkey with an official ceremony at the Çankaya Palace.
Napolitano is in Ankara on a formal visit.
The welcoming ceremony for Napolitano was also attended by the Speaker of Turkish Parliament Mehmet Ali Şahin and Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yıldız.
Gül and Napolitano proceeded to a tete-a-tete meeting following the welcoming ceremony.
The two presidents will later appear at a joint press conference.
