‘Semum’ represents Turkish horror cinema in Brazil

“Semum,” Turkish filmmaker Hasan Karacadağ’s sophomore directing effort, billed as Turkey’s first alien movie, is being featured in this year’s Cinefantasy international film festival in Brazil, movie Web site sadibey.com reported.
Billed as a “Turco-Islamic horror film” by its director, “Semum” will be screened on Friday at the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil in São Paulo. The fourth edition of the festival began last Friday and runs through Sunday.
