4 students attempt suicide in Kütahya

Four female students attempted to commit suicide by overdosing on pills on Tuesday in the Tavşanlı district of Kütahya. Three more who had originally intended to join them changed their minds at the last moment.
Four girls, F.E. (13), M.E. (13), N.D. (13) and Ö.F (12), gathered in the house of F.E., each of them bringing different pills from their houses. After mixing the pills in a plate, the girls swallowed them. According to reports, the girls wanted to die due to problems in their families and schools.
The girls were immediately taken to Dr. Mustafa Kalemli State Hospital after their families noticed something amiss. The students were being kept for observation at the hospital. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
