This newspaper’s “Today’s Learning” page (p. 18), which includes language exercises for students learning English at various levels, has been lauded by Konya students and teachers as a valuable learning tool.
The learning page provides English exercises on Tuesdays for 4th and 5th grade students, on Wednesdays for 6th and 7th graders and for 8th grade students on Fridays.

Teachers from Konya’s Meram Abdullah Aymaz Elementary School told Today’s Zaman that their students look at not only in the English learning page, but every page in the paper, which helps them stay up-to-date regarding developments in Turkey and the world.

Tarık Başören, thanked Today’s Zaman for its efforts to contribute to students’ learning and stated that the learning page has definitely increased the motivation of his students.

“It is an enormous pleasure to read an English daily about the developments in Turkey. I have to say my English level has been clearly improved after I started to study learning page and read Today’s Zaman,” said Mustafa Ünal, a 6th grade student.
