The Ankara-based Presidential Symphony Orchestra (CSO) opens this year's Eskişehir International Festival today with a sold-out performance at Eskişehir Anadolu University's Sports Complex.
Under the baton of renowned Israeli maestro Omri Hadari as guest conductor, the CSO will accompany young Turkish cellist Dorukhan Doruk during the performance, which will feature a program made up of pieces by two master Russian composers, Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich. The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. The annual Eskişehir International Festival is marking its 15th edition through Nov. 15.
