Korean-born violin virtuoso Hyuk-Joo Kwun will be performing with the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra (BSO) at the Bilkent Concert Hall tonight at 8 p.m.
Kwun is an outstanding young violinist who has won awards at several prestigious music competitions and has performed with internationally renowned orchestras. Organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the BSO, tonight’s concert will feature a program of Prokofiev’s “Concerto for Violin No. 2,” Tchaikovsky’s “Francesca da Rimini Op. 32” and Mussorgsky’s “Dawn on the Moskva River” and “Night on Bald Mountain.”
