Galatasaray climbed from 12th place to 11th, Fenerbahçe climbed 16 places up from 49th to 33rd place while Beşiktaş climbed from 139th place to 112th in IFFHS's current Club World Ranking which are based on performance of teams in games played between November 1, 2008 to October 30, 2009.
Beşiktaş's opponents in the UEFA Champions League, Manchester United of England maintained their lead on top of the list.
Meanwhile, three other teams from Turkey's soccer league also climbed in the list: Sivasspor climbed to 184th place, Trabzonspor to 247th and Bursaspor to 291st.
Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray which hold the 1st and 2nd places in Turkey's major soccer league are also leading their groups in the UEFA Europa League.
Galatasaray who won their second victory two weeks ago in Europa League, at their home against Romania's FC Dinamo Bucuresti (4-1) maintained their lead in Group F with 7 points. Fenerbahçe who managed to salvage three points away against Steaua Bucharest of Romania the same day, managed to take the lead in Group H with 6 points, with Holland's Twente loosing 2-0 against Moldova's Sheriff.
Beşiktaş will seek their first victory Tuesday in the Group B of UEFA Champions League at their home against Wolfsburg, against which they won their only point with a 0-0 draw ten days ago in Germany.
Fenerbahçe will be hosting Steaua Bucharest in Istanbul Thursday while Galatasaray will attempt to bolster their lead in group F at an away game against FC Dinamo Bucuresti the same day.
