Easy away victory for Fener as Lions show their teeth at home

It was a glorious week for Turkish soccer. A day after the Beşiktaş Black Eagles earned their first point in the UEFA Champions League after drawing 0-0 away with German champion VfL Wolfsburg, the Galatasaray Lions and the Fenerbahçe Yellow Canaries followed with victories in their respective UEFA Europa League matches.
Kazım Kazım scored in the 59th minute to give Fenerbahçe a 1-0 away victory over FC Steaua Bucharest in Group H, while the Galatasaray taught Steaua's distant cousin, Dinamo 1948 Bucharest, a good soccer lesson with a resounding 4-1 in their Group F match at İstanbul's Ali Sami Yen Stadium.
