The latest success of the International Turkish Hope Schools -- which have been operating in Bangladesh for 13 years -- was in the Edexcel International London Examinations. Five of their students received the highest points in the Edexcel O- and A-level examinations for eight subjects. One of these students, Zarin Pretula, said he owes his success to his teachers, who have devoted themselves to their students.
The general director of the International Turkish Hope Schools, Bayram Saatçi, said the success of the schools is a source of happiness and pride for the school administration and the teachers as well as Bangladeshis in general. Stating that the biggest reason for this success is the schools' dedicated teachers, who left their homes to come to Bangladesh, he said he wanted to congratulate all of them.
The recent success of the schools has also received wide coverage in the Bangladeshi media.
The International Turkish Hope Schools in Bangladesh, which have been operating since 1996, have seven branches in three cities. The schools provide education for more than 1,200 students.
